Sakura laughed nervously scratching the back of her head. To be honest, she didn’t know she had gotten in this strange district in the first place. She was glad to receive help from her new friend. Surprised but relieved at the offer, she accepted.
"Really? Well sure, since I don’t know what else to do since I’m lost."
"Alright! Hanazono-san, ikou!” Tamako began walking towards the direction of her home. It wasn’t far at all from here. She wondered if Sakura would want dinner. Surely Anko would help out.
"Don’t worry, we’ll most definitely find your way home!"
"N-n-no, it’s ok… I kinda feel bad… u-uhm… I just prepared some snacks and Takeru-sama doesn’t look to arrive so… d-do you wanna eat them i-if you are ok with it…?" she blushed slightly, feeling nervious about allowing a newcommer to enter a house that wasn’t exactly hers.
"Really? If it’s okay, then yeah! I have some mochi to share, too!" Tamako felt bad, but she was hungry and had been walking for awhile. She’d simply call her father after the meal with this extremely nice girl.
"Ah, I’m goinng~!" the energetic girl ran towards the door and opened it right away without wondering who was behind it. She was quite surprised to see someone new, maybe she had confused of house? "Ah, um, may you be friends with Takeru-sama~?"
Tamako tilted her head. “Takeru-sama? I don’t know who that is..” Who was this girl? Wasn’t this Shiori’s house?
Sakura laughed lightly at the girls comment. Mochi sure did solve her stomach. She was beginning to wonder what would’ve happened if the girl hadn’t approached Sakura before the girl leaned towards her. Slightly surprised, she replied.
"I’m from Seika High. I don’t live around here at all, I just got lost that’s all."
[[ “Nani?! You’re lost? Big trouble! Do you need help?" ]] Tamako was sure she wouldn’t be able to personally help her. But there were tons of helpful people in her district. Standing up, she nodded at Sakura. ]]
"No choice then! Come on. We’ll go to my house!" Let’s have more delicious mochi!
Sakura gladly took the mochi and bit into it. Hearing the girls comment, she smiled and continued to feast on the food she was given after many hours. After swallowing down the last bit of mochi quickly, Sakura cleared her throat and turned to the girl.
"Thank you for the mochi, I’m Sakura Hanazono."
[[ She held up a hand, shaking it back and forth. “No worries! Mochi solves all problems!” Tamako turned her body completely towards Sakura, leaning slightly closer. ]]
"Hanazono-san. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that uniform before.. What school do you go to?"
Sakura sat down at the small bench. She had arrived at an unfamiliar town, afraid to ask anyone for help, but at the moment, all she wanted was to eat something after hours of walking around. Searching her eyes around frantically for a place to eat, she soon realised she didn’t have enough money for anything. Luckily, a dark haired girl walked towards Sakura with a bag of mochi. Extremely relieved, she accepted the friendly girl’s offer.
"Yes, thank you!"
[[ Much to Tamako’s relief, she seemed thankful. Reaching into the bag, she pulled daifuku mochi, handing her newest friend one, then grabbing one for herself. ”There’s never a time not meant for eating mochi, right?” She said before taking a bite with rosy cheeks. Eating took her concentration, thus she ate without speaking to the other. After the mochi was gone, another smile made an appearance as her attention was directed back to her. ]]
[[ Tamako had her arms full, struggling as she ate the last of her croquette. Her everyday routine being played out perfectly. As she reached out to check her cellphone, blue eyes noticed someone sitting alone, looking troubled. Making her way to the bench where the girl was sitting, Tamako herself sat down. Holding a bag of mochi up, she smiled. ]]
He blinked down at her for a moment and once he knew that she was steady she released his hold on her and took a small step back from her. A smile of relief appeared on his face.
"Why are you thanking me? I was the one who ran into you." Girls are weird… Karakura town wasn’t a very big place and there was only one high school so the teens in the area knew all the other’s names. Though he couldn’t think of hers… “Hm? Are you from around here?”
Tamako lightly brushed her dress off before returning a smile. ”It would have been worse if you hadn’t caught me.” That reminded her, that somehow, she had ended up here. It had been so pretty her mind had completely wandered from that fact. Lucky!
"I don’t know if it’s around here, but I’m from Usagiyama shopping district!"
As Ryuu made his way through the crowds in Karakura Mall he felt his body collide with someone else’s as he was distracted by a blinking sushi sign.
Looking forward again he quickly reached out and grabbed the girl’s shoulders so she wouldn’t fall back. “Excuse me! I’m sorry I wasn’t paying any attention.”
Ahh, everything looks so good! Tamako was thoroughly entranced with the colorful displays in the shop windows. Digging her through her school bag, she wondered if she had any money on her. Her thoughts were abruptly halted as she felt a bump, and then the familiar sensation of falling.
When this person caught her, Tamako looked up at him wearing a serious expression. “That was close. Thank you!”
